We were honored to host Scenic Rivers Land Trust's 2026 Spring Easement Tour. Sixteen guests joined us for a 2.5-hour event that featured a one-mile guided hike, followed by an incredible meal catered by Garten to close out the evening.
The weather couldn’t have been better, allowing us to highlight some of the property’s most special points of interest, including the County Champion Hickory, the beautiful Mathias Cove shoreline, and our white oak bridge. Guests also had the opportunity to learn about local wildlife, with visits to two active fox dens and displays of coyote prey remains.
We are grateful to everyone who attended and gave us the opportunity to share our passion for, and stewardship of, this land. To continue the experience, we’ve created a 30-minute slideshow showcasing the animals and habitats that make this property so unique.
