Woodlands here support a rich mix of mammals, from white-tailed deer and foxes to smaller creatures like squirrels and rabbits. Raccoons, opossums, and coyotes are frequent, while groundhogs, moles, shrews, and mice thrive in fields and thickets. Bats add to the diversity, controlling insects on summer nights, all together reflecting the blend of forest, field and marsh habitats.

Our woodlands, marshland, and streams support a wide variety of birds. Songbirds like Northern Cardinals, Warblers and Eastern Bluebirds brighten the forests and fields, while herons, egrets, and kingfishers frequent wetlands. Along the shoreline, ospreys and bald eagles soar overhead, and migrating waterfowl fill the skies each season.
