This small evergreen plant brightens the forest floor with its dark green leaves marked by bold white stripes. In summer, it sends up delicate stalks with nodding pinkish-white flowers, while its patterned leaves remain through winter. Found in dry, shady woodlands, Spotted Wintergreen is a resilient native species that adds year-round beauty to the understory.
